The Chandler Police Department arrested 36-year-old John Wyman after a dog owner identified the sitter as the man in the video seen kicking and punching a dog. Wyman was arrested, cited and processed for one count of animal cruelty inflicting injury, which is classed as a misdemeanor. Officials with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced earlier this week that the dead bottlenose dolphin was reported on March 24 and recovered by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Alarming images attached to the administration’s press release showed a deep gash in the animal’s head.
