As mentioned before, Mark Henry is apparently planning to take time off WWE for a while now and it seems as though WWE Creative are completely livid by this decision. According to plans made by WWE Creative, Mark Henry was supposed to be in a huge feud with Big E Langston, preferably putting the younger guy over.

Now that Henry wants some time off TV to address to his injuries and get a surgery done, WWE Creative is now lost as they feel they spent a lot of time on him to put him in a good position now. WWE feels that they allow their wrestlers to rest in case of an injury and this time Henry does not have anything serious to undergo a surgery immediately.

There is a lot of heat on Henry at the moment and looking at his age and the history of injuries, it is tough to see if he will return to WWE after this break. WWE also feel that Henry’s last break was useful time wasted without a surgery and Creative feels that Henry should have undergone his surgery then.

Speaking of Creative’s work with Henry, one thing is very clear, Henry was booked poorly after his return. He came back and suddenly participated in the Elimination Chamber match, challenging the World Heavyweight title after which he was pitched against Ryback. Despite his victory, WWE did not find Henry worthy enough to challenge for the title, which I feel he deserves after nearly two decades of loyalty to WWE. After this, he was put in a feud with Sheamus that made him look more like a fool. If WWE feel they have done enough to make Henry hot after all this, it’s time they think again. At the moment there aren’t a lot of people who would care as to what WWE is doing with Henry.

As far as his taking time off from WWE is concerned, it is important that WWE look into his injuries first and let him take his own time. Because ultimately, it is important that wrestlers feel comfortable wrestling for the company.
